*Our Promise to You
We guarantee that all puppies will be microchipped, and have received an initial veterinarian exam as well as all appropriate 7 week vaccinations. As the buyer you have 72-hours to have your puppy examined by a veterinarian. Any requests to return the puppy must be made within 72-hours time and must be accompanied by a written statement from a veterinarian describing the problem found. If a licensed veterinarian finds a serious life threatening illness or disease (see puppy contract) breeder will replace with an equal puppy at same price from a future litter of their choosing. Failure to have your puppy examined within 72-hours voids the health warranty. It is understood that breeder is never responsible for veterinarian bills or transportation costs. Breeder reserves the right of first refusal if owner is not able to keep dog at any stage/age of the dogs life. Reimbursement of original purchase price is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of the Breeder. If given, reimbursement will reflect deductions for health costs, boarding fees, and any related expenses.
Long Term Health Guarantee
Each puppy/dog comes with a 12- month guarantee against hereditary/genetic diseases and 24- month guarantee against hip dysplasia*. Genetic defects that qualify for reimbursement of purchase price are listed on our puppy contract. Reimbursement will be made only when a second opinion from a qualified veterinarian at the owners expense. OFA certificate counts as a second opinion. Puppy can be returned to Apricot P&G and have either reimbursement of original puppy price provided or replacement of puppy in next litter if applicable. If buyer chooses to keep the puppy, the breeder will pay medical expenses related to genetic defect up to 150% the original price of the puppy purchase only. The Breeder reserves the right to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian of their choice to verify diagnosis before reimbursement or replacing.
*Hip Dysplasia is multifactorial and causes include genetics but also diet, obesity or body structure, and exercise related trauma. This Guarantee does not cover Hip Dysplasia related to non genetic factors and Breeder reserves the right to contact buyer's veterinarian for information on possible injury, diet and weight as well as conditions of over exercise as a puppy.
